Hoyo de Manzanares is a municipality in the province of Madrid with 8,811 inhabitants, the 61st largest of its 179 municipalities. Its council has 13 seats, and 7 make a majority to choose the mayor.

In May 2023 PP came first with 39.2% of the vote and 6 seats; PSOE was second with 4. 71% of the 6,734 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
