About Portugalete
Portugalete is a municipality in the province of Bizkaia with 44,800 inhabitants, the 5th largest of its 112 municipalities. Its council has 21 seats, and 11 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSE-EE (PSOE) came first with 46.2% of the vote and 11 seats, an absolute majority; EAJ-PNV was second with 5. 57.5% of the 36,406 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PSE-EE (PSOE) on 11 seats, a majority, which it holds in 59% of our simulations.
