About Rota

Rota is a municipality in the province of Cádiz with 29,491 inhabitants, the 12th largest of its 45 municipalities. Its council has 21 seats, and 11 make a majority to choose the mayor.

In May 2023 PSOE-A came first with 43.1% of the vote and 11 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 8. 56.2% of the 23,572 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
