Arcos is a municipality in the province of Burgos with 1,840 inhabitants, the 13th largest of its 367 municipalities. Its council has 9 seats, and 5 make a majority to choose the mayor.

In May 2023 PP came first with 61.3% of the vote and 7 seats, an absolute majority; PODEMOS-IU-AV was second with 1. 69.8% of the 1,253 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
