Epône is a commune in Yvelines with 4,647 registered voters, the 59th largest of the département's 259 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 60% of them voted, more than the 54.4% across Yvelines, and the list led by Emmanuel Bolle won 22 of the council's 29 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 29.1%, France Unbowed 24.4%, National Rally 21.9%.
