About Toulon

Toulon is a commune in Var with 107,721 registered voters, the largest of the département's 153 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 55.2% of them voted, fewer than the 58% across Var, and the list led by Josée Massi won 45 of the council's 59 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 25.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 24.2%, France Unbowed 19.6%. Reconquête did 7 points better here than across France.

Moved to today's national polls, our projection for the 2027 first round here has Marine Le Pen ahead on 38.1%, with Jean-Luc Mélenchon on 14.4%.
