Baillif is a commune in Guadeloupe with 4,641 registered voters, the 25th largest of the département's 32 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 58.2% of them voted, more than the 52.4% across Guadeloupe, and BAILLIF DYNAMIQUE AVEC VOUS ET POUR VOUS won 23 of the council's 28 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 53.3%, National Rally 18.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 13.5%. France Unbowed did 31 points better here than across France.
