Vero is a commune in Corse-du-Sud with 540 registered voters, the 40th largest of the département's 124 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 93.5% of them voted, more than the 69.4% across Corse-du-Sud, and INSEMI PÀ U NOSTRU PAESI won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 34.4%, France Unbowed 16.8%, Others 12.4%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 18 points worse here than across France.
