At the municipal election of March 2026 59.7% of them voted, close to the 58.7% across Charente-Maritime, and BIEN VIVRES AUX PORTES won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 43.6%, France Unbowed 11%, Reconquête 10.5%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 16 points better here than across France.
