About Loix
Loix is a commune in Charente-Maritime with 720 registered voters, the 170th largest of the département's 462 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 79% of them voted, more than the 58.7% across Charente-Maritime, and Loix, au coeur de tous won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 40.3%, National Rally 14.7%, France Unbowed 13.7%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 13 points better here than across France.
