Patones is a municipality in the province of Madrid with 536 inhabitants, the 151st largest of its 179 municipalities. Its council has 7 seats, and 4 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSOE came first with 61.9% of the vote and 5 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 2. 71.5% of the 459 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
