About Formentera
Formentera is a municipality in the province of Illes Balears with 11,418 inhabitants, the 24th largest of its 67 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 SA UNIÓ came first with 47.1% of the vote and 9 seats, an absolute majority; GXF was second with 5. 54.3% of the 7,303 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
