Tiana is a municipality in the province of Barcelona with 9,110 inhabitants, the 95th largest of its 311 municipalities. Its council has 13 seats, and 7 make a majority to choose the mayor.

In May 2023 JUNTS came first with 51.8% of the vote and 8 seats, an absolute majority; PSC - CP was second with 2. 55.1% of the 7,103 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
