Canovelles is a municipality in the province of Barcelona with 16,761 inhabitants, the 59th largest of its 311 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSC-CP came first with 54.6% of the vote and 11 seats, an absolute majority; VOX was second with 2. 46.1% of the 10,848 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PSC-CP on 10 seats, a majority, which it holds in 88% of our simulations.
