Gérardmer is a commune in Vosges with 6,240 registered voters, the 3rd largest of the département's 506 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 67.9% of them voted, more than the 59.9% across Vosges, and Gérardmer, c'est vous ! won 24 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 29%, France Unbowed 21%, National Rally 20.3%. National Rally did 3 points worse here than across France.
