Saint-Zacharie is a commune in Var with 5,247 registered voters, the 37th largest of the département's 153 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 70% of them voted, more than the 58% across Var, and UNION POUR SAINT-ZACHARIE won 23 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 36.1%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20.9%, France Unbowed 13.4%. National Rally did 13 points better here than across France.
