About La Crau

La Crau is a commune in Var with 16,237 registered voters, the 10th largest of the département's 153 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 61.7% of them voted, more than the 58% across Var, and RASSEMBLEMENT CRAUROIS won 29 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 33.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 23.7%, Reconquête 12.4%. National Rally did 10 points better here than across France.
