About Cogolin

Cogolin is a commune in Var with 8,162 registered voters, the 27th largest of the département's 153 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 57.4% of them voted, close to the 58% across Var, and the list led by Isabelle Farnet Risso won 26 of the council's 33 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 31.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.7%, Reconquête 16.4%. Reconquête did 9 points better here than across France.

Moved to today's national polls, our projection for the 2027 first round here has Marine Le Pen ahead on 44.8%, with Jean-Luc Mélenchon on 11.3%.
