Jouy-le-Moutier is a commune in Val-d'Oise with 11,802 registered voters, the 24th largest of the département's 183 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 52.3% of them voted, more than the 50.1% across Val-d'Oise, and JOUY, VILLE DURABLE ! won 30 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 36.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.4%, National Rally 16.8%. France Unbowed did 14 points better here than across France.
