Moislains is a commune in Somme with 960 registered voters, the 71st largest of the département's 770 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 64.6% of them voted, more than the 60.9% across Somme, and Nouvelle énergie pour Moislains won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 46.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.8%, France Unbowed 13%. National Rally did 23 points better here than across France.
