Cléon is a commune in Seine-Maritime with 3,135 registered voters, the 50th largest of the département's 707 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 47.9% of them voted, fewer than the 56.1% across Seine-Maritime, and CONTINUONS ENSEMBLE POUR CLEON won 24 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 36%, National Rally 25.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20.3%. France Unbowed did 14 points better here than across France.
