Saint-Thibault-des-Vignes is a commune in Seine-et-Marne with 4,716 registered voters, the 50th largest of the département's 506 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 54.4% of them voted, more than the 51.6% across Seine-et-Marne, and the list led by Claude Verona won 22 of the council's 23 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 31.7%, France Unbowed 25.7%, National Rally 15.1%. National Rally did 8 points worse here than across France.
