Montvalezan is a commune in Savoie with 670 registered voters, the 106th largest of the département's 273 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 79.7% of them voted, more than the 59.2% across Savoie, and Avenir Montvalezan 2026 won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 26.1%, National Rally 20.6%, France Unbowed 14.9%. France Unbowed did 7 points worse here than across France.
