Connerré is a commune in Sarthe with 2,118 registered voters, the 34th largest of the département's 350 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 62.6% of them voted, more than the 55.4% across Sarthe, and Agir ensemble pour Connerré won 21 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 34.6%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20.6%, France Unbowed 18.4%. National Rally did 11 points better here than across France.
