Beaufay is a commune in Sarthe with 1,236 registered voters, the 82nd largest of the département's 350 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 54.4% of them voted, close to the 55.4% across Sarthe, and Ensemble pour l'avenir de Beaufay won 19 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.
