Ternay is a commune in Rhône with 3,899 registered voters, the 59th largest of the département's 266 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 52.5% of them voted, fewer than the 56.7% across Rhône, and Bien Vivre à Ternay won 22 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.
