About Guérigny
Guérigny is a commune in Nièvre with 1,840 registered voters, the 13th largest of the département's 308 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 72% of them voted, more than the 61% across Nièvre, and ENSEMBLE POUR L'AVENIR DE GUERIGNY won 19 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 34%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 23.4%, France Unbowed 17.6%. National Rally did 11 points better here than across France.
