Phalsbourg is a commune in Moselle with 3,329 registered voters, the 41st largest of the département's 724 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 57.1% of them voted, more than the 53.8% across Moselle, and the list led by Marielle Spenlé won 21 of the council's 27 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 30.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.3%, France Unbowed 17.4%. National Rally did 7 points better here than across France.
