Lessy is a commune in Moselle with 680 registered voters, the 215th largest of the département's 724 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 70.1% of them voted, more than the 53.8% across Moselle, and LESSY une dynamique nouvelle won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 38.9%, France Unbowed 18.5%, National Rally 14%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 11 points better here than across France.
