Algrange is a commune in Moselle with 4,033 registered voters, the 33rd largest of the département's 724 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 49.8% of them voted, fewer than the 53.8% across Moselle, and Un nouvel élan pour Algrange won 23 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 34.3%, France Unbowed 22.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 21%. National Rally did 11 points better here than across France.
