Troyon is a commune in Meuse with 160 registered voters, the 188th largest of the département's 492 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 86.3% of them voted, more than the 60.4% across Meuse, and the list led by Luc Nevou won 9 of the council's 11 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 44.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18.6%, Reconquête 10.5%. National Rally did 21 points better here than across France.
