Montmédy is a commune in Meuse with 1,089 registered voters, the 20th largest of the département's 492 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 65.4% of them voted, more than the 60.4% across Meuse, and the list led by Pierre Leonard won 15 of the council's 19 seats after a second round.
