Mont-Saint-Martin is a commune in Meurthe-et-Moselle with 4,574 registered voters, the 26th largest of the département's 590 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 52% of them voted, close to the 52.3% across Meurthe-et-Moselle, and MONT SAINT MARTIN LIBRE won 23 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 40.8%, National Rally 21.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20.6%. France Unbowed did 19 points better here than across France.
