Chiconi is a commune in Mayotte with 5,594 registered voters, the 8th largest of the département's 17 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 75.2% of them voted, more than the 70.4% across Mayotte, and AGIR ENSEMBLE won 23 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 48.7%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18%, France Unbowed 17.2%. National Rally did 25 points better here than across France.
