Le Diamant is a commune in Martinique with 5,559 registered voters, the 19th largest of the département's 34 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 66.7% of them voted, more than the 47.8% across Martinique, and LIANNAJ DES FORCES DIAMANTINOISES won 23 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 50.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18.3%, National Rally 11.9%. France Unbowed did 28 points better here than across France.
