Bezannes is a commune in Marne with 3,224 registered voters, the 13th largest of the département's 610 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 62.9% of them voted, more than the 51.9% across Marne, and the list led by David Cappé won 23 of the council's 29 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 36.4%, National Rally 20.4%, France Unbowed 15.1%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 9 points better here than across France.
