Gontaud-de-Nogaret is a commune in Lot-et-Garonne with 1,293 registered voters, the 36th largest of the département's 319 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 72.5% of them voted, more than the 61.5% across Lot-et-Garonne, and BIEN-VIVRE-A-GONTAUD-DE-NOGARET won 15 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.
