Unieux is a commune in Loire with 6,202 registered voters, the 13th largest of the département's 316 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 55.7% of them voted, more than the 52.4% across Loire, and UNIEUX, LE RENOUVEAU won 23 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.
