Seignosse is a commune in Landes with 4,176 registered voters, the 18th largest of the département's 327 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 65.7% of them voted, more than the 63.7% across Landes, and ENSEMBLE AU COEUR DES PROJETS won 22 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 32.4%, France Unbowed 19.4%, National Rally 12.9%. National Rally did 10 points worse here than across France.
