L'Etoile is a commune in Jura with 455 registered voters, the 92nd largest of the département's 490 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 60% of them voted, more than the 57.6% across Jura, and POUR UN VILLAGE VIVANT ET SOLIDAIRE won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
