At the municipal election of March 2026 46.8% of them voted, fewer than the 55.5% across Isère, and Bien vivre à Vignieu : Notre projet commun won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 33.5%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 22.7%, France Unbowed 16.5%. National Rally did 10 points better here than across France.
