Sardieu is a commune in Isère with 815 registered voters, the 265th largest of the département's 510 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 49.9% of them voted, fewer than the 55.5% across Isère, and Responsabilité, Adaptabilité et Qualité de Vie won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 35.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18%, France Unbowed 16.8%. National Rally did 12 points better here than across France.
