Truyes is a commune in Indre-et-Loire with 1,803 registered voters, the 48th largest of the département's 271 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 68.2% of them voted, more than the 56.6% across Indre-et-Loire, and TRUYES 2026 - UNE NOUVELLE ENERGIE won 15 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 30.1%, National Rally 26%, France Unbowed 18%. France Unbowed did 4 points worse here than across France.
