Eygliers is a commune in Hautes-Alpes with 713 registered voters, the 32nd largest of the département's 162 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 78.8% of them voted, more than the 66.1% across Hautes-Alpes, and the list led by Aubérie Dimpre won 12 of the council's 15 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 31.8%, National Rally 22.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.6%. France Unbowed did 10 points better here than across France.
