At the municipal election of March 2026 52.8% of them voted, fewer than the 62% across Haute-Loire, and BON CAP, ÉNERGIES NOUVELLES won 27 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 26.1%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.8%, National Rally 17.4%. National Rally did 6 points worse here than across France.
