Costaros is a commune in Haute-Loire with 414 registered voters, the 103rd largest of the département's 256 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 63% of them voted, close to the 62% across Haute-Loire, and UN CAP NOUVEAU POUR COSTAROS won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 36.1%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.4%, France Unbowed 12.9%. National Rally did 13 points better here than across France.
