Saint-Alban is a commune in Haute-Garonne with 4,964 registered voters, the 38th largest of the département's 586 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 57.2% of them voted, close to the 58.7% across Haute-Garonne, and UN NOUVEL ÉLAN POUR SAINT-ALBAN won 23 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 25.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.1%, France Unbowed 22.2%.
