At the municipal election of March 2026 63.7% of them voted, fewer than the 68.6% across Haute-Corse, and PER L'AVVENE DI CANALE DI VERDE won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 37.5%, Reconquête 22.7%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 12.5%. Reconquête did 16 points better here than across France.
