Bouillante is a commune in Guadeloupe with 6,422 registered voters, the 19th largest of the département's 32 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 56.3% of them voted, more than the 52.4% across Guadeloupe, and RASSEMBLEMENT DES FORCES BOUILLANTAISES won 24 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 58.2%, National Rally 15.6%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 14.3%. France Unbowed did 36 points better here than across France.
