Saint-Laurent-Médoc is a commune in Gironde with 3,754 registered voters, the 61st largest of the département's 534 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 60.5% of them voted, close to the 58.7% across Gironde, and Avec vous, pour Saint Laurent won 21 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 33.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 22.8%, France Unbowed 16.8%. National Rally did 10 points better here than across France.
